About Us

Apostolic Fellowship International Ministries is an independent Christian ministry with several extension ministries. We maintain no denominational ties, but rather hold to our Statement of Faith which may be found below and also obtained in tract form for teaching or reference purposes through our e-store.

We are Christian

We believe in God, revealed in the Scriptures, revealed and manifest in the Almighty Father; in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son our Lord and Savior; the very Word made flesh which dwelt among us full of grace and truth, the very Wisdom of God, the very image of God, whose Name is the only Name by which men may be saved under heaven, born of a virgin, crucified, died, buried, and rose again on the third day, now seated at the right hand of the Father and alive forevermore; God in sanctification and experience in the Holy Ghost; and in the church of God made up of believers of every race, tongue, sex, and tribe, in all the world.  We believe in the cloud of witnesses, those who have gone before us in faith and are now absent in the body, but present with the Lord.  (Genesis 1:1, Psalm 68:5, Isaiah 9:6, Matthew 1:18-24, Matthew 3:11,  Matthew 27:32-56, Luke 3:22, John 1:1-18, John 3:16, John 14:15-17, John 16:5-15, John 20:1-31, Acts 1:1-11, Acts 2:1-28, Acts 4:12, Acts 11:26, Romans 15:13-16, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Galatians 1:1-4, Ephesians 4:30, Colossians 1:15-23, Hebrews 12:1)

We are Scriptural

We believe in the divine inspiration of the Scriptures and that they reveal the necessary plan of salvation and faith for mankind.  We believe Scripture to be a guide for our integrity, practical problems of everyday living, relationships, and morals, as well.  We believe in the importance of studying the Word, seeking only to rightly divide God’s Word, as the Scriptures are the standard of faith and doctrine and are useful for teaching and training of all humankind in the truth of God.  (Deuteronomy 4:10, Joshua 3:9, 2 Samuel 22:31, Psalm 18:30, Psalm 119:42-44, Luke 24:27, John 5:39, John 8:31-36, John 17:6-19, Acts 17:11, Romans 15:4, Ephesians 6:17, 2 Timothy 3:10-17, Hebrews 4:12-13, 1 John 2:5-14)

We are Apostolic

We believe that the faith and church of the apostles are the prototypes for that which should exist today and for all time until Jesus returns.  We need to follow this divine example as laid out in the New Testament to serve as proper representation of the Kingdom of God on earth, fully edified by our faith, belief, and leadership in this modern age.  We believe in the experience of baptism in water (a symbolism of our death to sin and resurrection to new life in Jesus Christ, the symbolic spiritual birthing process) and in Spirit as a part of the sanctification experience of salvation of the believer; one Lord, one faith, one body, one hope, one God and Father of us all Who works in all and is in all, and the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.  We believe in divine appointment of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers placed for the edification and building up of God’s Church until the time when Jesus Christ shall return. (Matthew 28:16-20, Mark 1:8, Mark 13:11, John 17Acts 2:37-47, Acts 8:9-40, Romans 16:7, 1 Corinthians 12:28, Ephesians 2:20, Ephesians 3:5, Ephesians 4:1-16, Titus 3:5, 1 Peter 2:9-12, 2 Peter 3:2)

We are Pentecostal

We believe in the experience of Pentecost as accessible and valid to each believer and in Gifts of the Spirit.  These gifts are manifest and active today as much as in the New Testament era of church history. These gifts, such as inspiration, prophecy, faith, healing, ministering, speaking in tongues, interpretation and translation of tongues, discernment of spirits, exhortation, and inspired knowledge and understanding, are essential to building up of the church of God, edifying its members, and relaying the Gospel until at God's appointed time, they shall cease. Through the manifestation of such gifts throughout history, we see true Christian witness in every age, despite persecution, punishment, and attempted suppression.  This experience, literally traceable all the way back to the time of the apostles and manifest today in God’s spiritual outpouring upon all of mankind in these last days. (Isaiah 11:9, Mark 16:15-18, Acts 2:1-22, Acts 10:1-48, Romans 12:1-8, 1 Corinthians 12:1-31, 1 Corinthians 14:1-5, Hebrews 2:1-4, 1 Peter 4:10-13)

We are existential

We believe in the importance of "rightly dividing the Word of Truth" (2 Timothy 2:15). We see this method displayed in Christian ministers all throughout history, and in modern times through such as Soren Kierkegaard, Paul Tillich, and others, who have helped enlighten and illuminate the truth of God’s Word and help us to read Scripture for what it says rather than what we want it to say. Through this method, we learn that experience precedes knowledge, production precedes existence, and existence precedes essence. We rightly believe, in accordance with Christian principle, that the Holy Ghost will lead us into all truth of the Scriptures to rightly divide the Word of truth and we will know what it rightly contains. (Joshua 24:15, Psalm 119:66, Ecclesiastes 12:9-10, Isaiah 28:13-16, Hosea 4:4-6, Luke 8:10, Romans 5:12-21, Romans 15:14, 2 Corinthians 8:7, Philippians 1:9, Colossians 2:1-5, 2 Timothy 2:15-16, Hebrews 11:1-40, 2 Peter 1:3-11)

We are practical

Scripture tells us that in these last days before Jesus returns, people would turn aside from God's reasonable truth to follow unreasonable lies and errors (2 Timothy 3:1-9, Jude 1:17-23). But the truth of God's Word and the reality of salvation is as practical and as life-changing as it always was with the ability to make life victorious this side of heaven as much today as in the afterlife.  We believe in the power of divine spirituality through a living relationship through Jesus Christ as a practical, applicable part of everyday life obtainable through the power of eternal life manifest in the victories of life, living, and overcoming trials, tribulations, and the evils of this age. (Proverbs 4:2, Jeremiah 29:12-13, Daniel 1:17, Joel 2:28-32, Micah 6:6-8, Romans 3:9-26, 2 Corinthians 6:2-3, Ephesians 2:1-22, 1 Timothy 4:13, 2 Timothy 3:1-13, Galatians 1:9, James 2:17-26, 1 John 3:14-24)

We are a witness

We believe in the importance of serving as a witness, and in the living witness of every believer today.  God calls us to live in complete obedience to Him, in righteousness and holiness manifest through our attitude, our conduct, and our interactions with others.   We believe in the importance of excellence in our preaching, our teaching, our scholarship, our conduct, our relationships, and our daily lives.  We are commanded to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and our neighbor as ourselves and this manifests through our actions, as the Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power.  (Ruth 4;11, Job 29:14, Psalm 23:3, Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, Isaiah 35:8, Isaiah 43:10, Isaiah 61:1-3, Matthew 6:33, Matthew 22:35-40, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 4:20, 2 Corinthians 1:12, 2 Corinthians 2:17, 2 Corinthians 4:1-6, 2 Corinthians 7:1, Ephesians 4:17-32, Colossians 3:1-17, 2 Timothy 1:14, Hebrews 12:10-14, James 3:18, 1 Peter 2:9-12, 1 Peter 4:10-13)

We are a resource

We seek to be a truthful alternative to traditional church and religion, which often distort the message of Jesus Christ. We believe in being a spiritual resource to all: the unchurched, those who find spiritual power in living church rather than living at church; those who've never heard the Gospel but desire to know the real God in a real way; those who are hurting; and those sincere, dedicated Christians, ministries, and churches desiring unity, assistance, and honesty in the true fellowship of the apostles and apostolic church. We believe that we are called to be the church rather than limiting church to something we attend. (Psalm 16:3, Matthew 26:13, Mark 8:35, Mark 13:10, Mark 16:15-20, Acts 16:5, Acts 20:24, Romans 7:4, 1 Corinthians 9:23, 1 Corinthians 10:31-33, 1 Corinthians 13:4-13, Ephesians 3:20-21, Philippians 1:16, Colossians 1:6, 1 Peter 4:12-19)

Mission Statement

Apostolic Fellowship International Ministries seeks to proclaim the good news of the Gospel of God and of Jesus Christ to every creature, in every nation, in all the world.

We seek to present spirituality as a practical, applicable part of everyday life, that salvation is not about death but about life, even life today manifest through saving power, and that the power of salvation can be manifest through obtaining victory in one's life.

We seek to prepare the world for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, by introducing all to the power of Jesus Christ; to let them know that being a Christian means to be in Christ, to be Christ-like in belief and character, to believe in Him, to be transformed by Him, and to stand upon His apostolic doctrinal foundation and apostolic leadership; and in letting all mankind know that the Kingdom of God is within and all around believers, and that all can be a part of the Kingdom of God through their choice and action, through the empowerment of making change in their lives, and turning toward the fullness of truth.

 Our Vision

Apostolic Fellowship International Ministries seeks to take the Gospel to the nations, reaching every nation with the saving power of Jesus Christ through work with church leadership and church members in the form of apostolic oversight and education, through television, radio, and the internet, through the printed word, through conferences, seminars, and comprehensive education through Apostolic University, through the living witness of outreach to our community, women, inmates, the sick, and the hurting.  Our vision is to stand as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.

The Apostle's Creed (AD 600 Version)

I believe in God, the Father Almighty;

And in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, our Lord;

Who was born of the Holy Ghost and Virgin Mary;

And was crucified under Pontius Pilate, and was buried;

And the third day rose again from the dead.

Ascended into heaven, sitteth on the right hand of the Father;

Whence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead;

And in the Holy Ghost;

The Holy Church;

The remission of sins;

And the resurrection of the flesh,

Amen.
